Liberators Who Are Tyrrants

Not as tyrants have we come, but as liberators: Adolf Hitler, 1938

An evil exists that threatens every man, woman, and child of this great nation. We must take steps to ensure our domestic security and protect our homeland: Adolph Hitler : In 1933, Hitler used the burning of the Reichstag as a pretext to push through emergency decrees suspending the basic civil liberties of German citizens. The "emergency" decrees remained in effect until the fall of the Third Reich in 1945.

Wars do not liberate man...they only bring about his suffering...and every nation that thinks its greatness lies within its ability to make war against humanity for their own good will suffer under the same consequenses that it intended to give.

What you sow...so shall ye reap.

When Eve offered Adam a bite of the fruit from the tree that God forbade them to eat of, Adam didn’t refuse…he said not one word in protest. His silence left him vulnerable to do exactly as he desired. He knew it was wrong, but in not opening his mouth to refuse, or even rebuke Eve for her disobedience, he became doubtful of God's punishment of eternal death, instead fearing that she might reject him. He fell to his desire for Eve, which he did not see in his own heart as being more than his desire for God's will.

He saw Eve eat of the fruit…and not die as God had promised...and so he refused to believe. His affection towards her and fear that she might reject him was greater than his willingness to refuse to do what he knew in his heart was wrong. His sin was already conceived in his heart…but when he acted on it…it became exposed and they, ( both Adam and Eve) became spiritually dead in their sin by their separation from God due to their lack of belief, which was the original sin. Adam sinning first in that he was willing to see what happened, or did not happen to eve, first. Adam tempted God in this way, suffering the same consequences as if he had commited the same thing himself.

How great is your affection for Lady Liberty today? So great indeed that you are willing to go against what you know in your heart to be wrong? Have you confused her with the abundance and wealth of a nation? Have you confused oil and national interest and the comfort of plenty with freedom? Have you confussed her instead with what is pleasing to the eyes, good for food, and able to make one wise...all things that appeal to the senses of the flesh?

Why are the interests of our nation greater than the lives of the men of other nations? Is your life, your freedom, your liberty, determined by the abundance of what you own? Is it more important than your willingness to refuse to do what you know in your heart is wrong…or at least to speak out against it? Is it determined by what is pleasant to the eyes, or what in your mind is good for food? Is it determined by a tree desirable to make you wise? Has this liberty, this freedom, this democracy, this American way of life become to you nothing more than a cloak for covetousness? If so, then you have believed the lie and become an instrument of Satan, and unless you confess the truth with your lips, repent of these lies and believe it in your heart that Jesus Christ and only Jesus Christ is Lord, willing to face the word of truth that He spoke and you know is in your heart, determining in your heart to live it...then you cannot be saved from the lie…no matter what you may call yourself....Christian, Muslem or Jew.

A tree is known by the fruit that it bears...and not by what it is called.

Christ said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” To confess Christ then is to confess the truth, which is the way to life…it is to confess that which agrees with the final reality as to what is the way of life. Everything else is of a lie and destines humanity to destruction.

Now I shall ask you to imagine how/ Men under discipline of death prepare for war. / There is much more to it than armament/ . . . and for a while they join a terrible equality;/ Are virtuous, self-sacrificing, free; / And so insidious is this liberty/ That those surviving it will bear/ An even greater servitude to its root: / Believing they were whole, while they were brave;/ That they were rich because their loot was great;/ That war was meaningful because they lost their friends: Homer - Source: War Music A verse translation of Books 16 - 19 of the Iliad by Christopher Logue. 1981. King Penguin.

Wake up and open your eyes America…open your ears and your heart. Stop hearing the ones who spin the lies in order to deceive you, who tell you what you want to hear at the expense of the truth, that our nation is righteous over all other nations and are able to dictate their laws... who pursue with rigor on the backs of the people, their own power and greed.

For when they shall say,” Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman, and they shall not escape. Thessalonians 5:3.

I have named the destroyers of nations: comfort, plenty, and security - out of which grow a bored and slothful cynicism, in which rebellion against the world as it is, and myself as I am, are submerged in listless self-satisfaction : John Steinbeck: American novelist, Nobel Prize for Literature for 1962, 1902-1968

We will bankrupt ourselves in the vain search for absolute security: Dwight David Eisenhower: 34th president of the United States, 1890-1969

The only security for the American people today, or for any people, is to be found through the control of force rather than the use of force : Norman Cousins: American essayist and editor, long associated with the Saturday Review, 1912-1990

Power always has to be kept in check; power exercised in secret, especially under the cloak of national security, is doubly dangerous: William Proxmire

Let therefore, the voice of God, spoken down through the ages, through the agency of men, become your guide.
